Danielle Carter
Club Director
Provincial In-Training Coach
12 Years of ExperienceQualifications: NCCP & Skate Canada Provincial In-Training, Regional Certified, and CanSkate Certified. Danielle is a quad gold and former competitive skater who represented Alberta and won Alberta Winter Games in FreeSkate. Danielle specializes in coaching the disciplines of freeskate, dance, and choreography. Danielle enjoys coaching all levels from CanSkate 3+ to Gold. A focus of Danielle's is working with junior coaches as a coach mentor.
This is Danielle's second season as Club Director for the Tri Area Skating Club, as Club Director Danielle focuses on athlete inclusivity, positive athlete interactions, and creating an atmosphere for all athletes to reach their full potential both on and off the ice.

David Howe
Head Coach
National Certified Coach
35 Years of Experience
Qualifications: NCCP & Skate Canada National Certified. He's a former member of the national team as a skater, with multiple Canadian Championship and International medals. He has been a National, World & Olympic team coach, with many International medalists & Canadian National champions in, Freeskate, Dance & Pairs, as well as having PowerSkating certification.

Tara Parsons
Provincial Certified Coach
28 Years of Experience
Qualifications: NCCP & Skate Canada Provincial Certified (Level 2), partial National Certification (Level 3). Tara has coached students to Gold achievement in all four disciplines of figure skating, Diamond level in dance, and has had students achieve Quad Gold Awards. Tara's students have reached finals and have had podium finishes in many Regional and Provincial Competitions. Experienced in triathlon events, theatre on ice, and ice show management. Tara is also a mentor coach to regional (Level 1) coaches.

Corrina Chessall
Provincial In-Training Coach
25 Years of Experience
Qualifications: NCCP and Skate Canada Provincially Trained and has over 25 years coaching experience. Corinna competed Nationally in Synchronized Skating. She has spent the majority of her career working with CanSkate and STARSkaters and especially enjoys coaching junior figure skaters. She is pleased to be joining the club and looks forward to meeting the families of the Tri Area Skating Club.

Jenn Dibblee
Provincial In-Training Coach
12 Years of Experience
Qualifications: NCCP & Skate Canada Provincial In-Training, Regional Certified, and CanSkate Certified.Jenn skated competitively in freeskate to the Pre Novice Level before moving to competitive Ice Dance where she competed provincially to the Novice level. Jenn has coached competitive skaters at the Pre Novice level in freeskate, has also coached skaters to the Gold test level in all four disciplines, Diamond level in Dance, and has experience working with ice dance teams. Jenn also has extensive experience in ice show planning, management and production as well as off-ice classes, nutrition, mental focus and competition preparation. While Jenn specializes in ice dance, she also enjoys coaching all disciplines of skating, and working with all ages and levels of skaters from CanSkate 3+ to Competitive in developing their skills and help them to succeed in achieving their individual goals. After taking an extended break from coaching to raise her family, Jenn, has returned to coaching the sport she loves and is excited to be joining our club this season.

Victoria Newton
Regional Certified Coach
8 Years of Experience
Qualifications: NCCP & Skate Canada Regional Certified, CanSkate Certified, and CanPower Certified. Victoria is a quad gold skater and is in school at Concordia University of Edmonton for Bachelor of Art and Education program. Victoria enjoys working with Learn-to-Skate skaters and StarSkate skaters, Victoria has a past coaching and skating experience with learn to skate, Power skating and Star 1-Gold skaters.
