Emma
Yoga Instructor
Emma’s 14-year yoga practice has been a vital solace—a way to return home to her body and cultivate her own flexibility and balance on and off the mat. Currently pursuing a degree in Psychology, she integrates her background in neurological regulation with ancient wisdom. As a certified Forest School Practitioner and founder of Elements Nature School, Emma believes nature is the most profound teacher. Her teaching is inspired by the Buddhist metaphor of the "island of peace": rather than carrying people to the island, Emma has chosen to teach them how to "swim". She empowers students to find true balance—mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Through nervous system regulation, connection to breath, and guided visualization to enhance a growth mindset, she equips students with the physiological tools necessary to navigate life's turbulent waters with calm agency.

Over her 12 year figure skating career, Kendra competed nationally in both singles and pairs (up to the Junior level) before switching focus to her education. She graduated from University of Alberta with a Bachelors in Kinesiology in 2021 and finished her Masters in Physiotherapy in 2023. She has experience working in strength and conditioning for elite athletes and has a passion for fitness and injury rehabilitation
